This is one of our favorite places to go when we want to enjoy a delicious pizza or wings and they have a selection of local beer offerings. The menu expands to include a variety of appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, salads, as well as a dinner selections. Copper Pot is also a good local spot if you want to catch up on watching a sports game.

A good place where you can enjoy customized Paninis and brick oven pizzas along with an assortment of prepared salads. HARVEST HABERSHAM: 1362 Washington Street
We truly enjoy dining at this farm to table restaurant and it is a must visit. Their menu changes given the fresh ingredients available to their chef. The restaurant’s staff recognizes the importance of making the dining experience a fine one. There is an expansive spirit, wine and beer menu to complement your meal; and the desserts are a true treat to leave room for to bring closure to your meal. RESERVATIONS RECOMMENDED & LIMITED HOURS.

WILD BERRY GRILL & GIFTS: 327 Monroe Street, Suite A
This is a fun little sandwich shop where you order from the menu on the blackboard and they bring your freshly prepared meal to you.

HAWG WILD BBQ: 515 Grant Street
We enjoy this spot for bar-b-que. Their menu includes pork, chicken and beef options and their portions are hearty. The atmosphere includes a very large fireplace for indoor seating. They also have a very large bar area that may be a great location if looking to enjoy a beer and a sports game. Located just around the corner from the Inn and can actually be within walking distance. It is located on historic 441 so just be careful and attentive to traffic if you wish to walk there.

EL JINETE: 345 W. Louise Street
Located just out of town, this is a good place to visit to enjoy some Mexican cuisine. They have a full bar so a margarita is an option. It is a casual dining experience with a very inclusive menu and the service has never disappointed us.

SWEET BREADS: 579 Georgia St, Demorest
Located in the heart of Demorest, Sweet Breads is a good selection if looking for a nearby local restaurant for lunch. It has a fun and unique atmosphere whose menu offers a variety of lunch options. It also is a “sweet” place to stop in for a coffee and dessert. It does have limited daytime hours.

CHICAGO’S PIZZA: 879 441 Historic Hwy North, Demorest
Being in love with the City of Chicago, we enjoy visiting here not only for the variety of styles of pizza but to enjoy other items offered from their menu. This is a good place if you are looking for a dining experience that offers a variety of Italian options. A calzone tends to be a common order from us when we visit. Their portions tend to be both delicious and filling.
